TEEN SEWING lab (Ages 13-17)
"STITCHED WITH STYLE" Is excited to announce we are offering a teen sewing series. The goal of the program is to effectively teach sewing disciplines in order to build youth's self-confidence, explore their own creativity, learn entrepreneurial skills, and ultimately assist them to become economically self-sufficient. With 10 total sewing hours you will gain complete confidence on the sewing machine, learn the fundamentals of fashion, and learn to read and understand commercial/ PDF patterns.
Skill Requirements: Students are required to take Sewing 101: Learn The Basics & Sewing 102: Next Steps before enrolling in this course.

“stitched with style” entrepreneurship club
The Business of Sewing! Join this 8 week program and work as a design team with fellow students creating custom goods to sale. Learn to turn your love of sewing into a thriving business.
Our SWS Designers will develop an understanding of business and entrepreneurship whilst improving and increasing life skills which need to be utilized daily. Designers will participate in vending opportunities and launch our first online student marketplace to sale their custom goods. Gaining an understanding of their profits gained vs cost of materials, and labor costs.
Designers will receive mentorship from local business owners, and opportunities for possible internships and or employment.

“STITCHED WITH STYLE” AFTER SCHOOL SEWING PROGRAM
Let your creative teen spend the fall season creating and learning new skills!
We are hosting an after school program for teens who love fashion sewing and design. In these weekly sessions you will learn to use the sewing machine and gain an understanding of all of its functions.
Students will learn to read and manipulate patterns, how to achieve clean straight seams, gain confidence with technical execution all while learning a new skill and creating various projects based on their skill level.
Each student MUST bring their own tools, however fabric and materials are included in our sessions to create various fashionable projects. Just come and have fun being creative!
