Join this two part dress making workshop! Students will use the sewing machine and serger in this course.
Roxanne is a close-fitting dress with exposed seams. The dress has a grown-on stand collar and long, two-piece set-in sleeves featuring a shaped hem and a slit. The front of the dress is made up of three shaped pieces. The back features a center seam. Roxanne is midi length.
Skill Requirements: This is an intermediate sewing level workshop. Prerequisites for this class are Sewing 101/ Sewing 102/ Intro Garment Making. Sometimes a single open studio season just isn’t enough. Our Open Studio Sewing Workshop Series is the perfect opportunity to get your sewjo back and have a weekly class that allows you to grow your sewing skills creating projects of your choice.
It’s time to complete all of your unfinished projects!
Start a new project with the assistance of an expert instructor!
Join "Stitched With Style" in a casual creative setting for our open studio sewing session. Choose any new or unfinished project you would like to get personal assistance with from our expert instructor. Students work on a wide range of projects of their choice, including sewing garments, making alterations, creating slipcovers, pillows, or just a specific sewing technique… anything goes. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced sewers. Please make sure to bring all of the supplies you need to complete your project. Measure the body accurately to create a perfect fit
Work from a commercial/ pdf pattern, including size selection, deciphering instructions, cutting from paper pattern pieces, and more
Understand garment sewing basics such as proper fabric prep, pinning, cutting, and troubleshooting
Work with knit fabrics

DALLAS VINTAGE DUFFLE (TWO DAY WORKSHOP)
Sew this vintage-inspired duffel bag and head out for an adventure! Includes handles as well as an adjustable cross-body strap. A little piping adds a classic, authentic look. An exterior pocket keeps all your small items nearby, and also features an interior zippered pocket. Instructions are included to make your own handles and strap, or you can simply use webbing. Choose from 3 sizes.
